When demonstrating the product, we observed features that people liked. Here is a short list of what they said:

The Undo/Redo Ladder feature ...
The undo/redo stack is stored as a transaction ladder. This means, one may walk back and forth on the undo/redo list, edit it in the middle of the walk, and will be able to se the changes incorporated into the undo/redo list

The Multi Clipboard feature ....
feature. Wed has ten clipboards, and the traditional windows clipboard. We observed people love the one key access to paste any text from any of the 10 clipboards ...
   
The Autosave feature .....
Wed saves it´s modified buffers automatically, after a period of inactivity. These buffers are stored in a data directory, and are infinitely helpful on any kind of disaster.

The UNIX auto recognition feature ......
Wed detects the presence of CR only lines. It will remember it and save the file back according to the original format. One can sit on a central machine and edit on any platform without conversion.

The Macro Record/Playback feature .......
One can record a sequence of keystrokes. For example a sequence that selects the first word in the line, cuts it and inserts it as the second word. After this macro is recorded, it can be played back on every line. No editing job too big for this one ....

The Global Search and Replace feature
One can load a multitude of  files into Wed. Like loading a complete project. With a single dialog one can change a string in all the files. And it works clean. No other tool does that. Especially, no other tool does that, with the ability to undo it all.
